The Colorado doubles triples test consists of 20 questions. To pass, you must correctly answer at least 16 questions (80%). In Colorado, you must be at least 15 years old to apply for a minor instruction permit. Once you reach the age of 16 and have held the permit for 12 months, you become eligible for a minor license. To take the DMV written test in Colorado, you have three options:

Extra documents for minors:

For new drivers under 18 years old, Colorado imposes specific restrictions:
- They cannot drive unless accompanied by a licensed adult 21 or older in the front seat.
- During the first six months, they cannot transport passengers under 21, except for a parent or adult over 21. After this period, one passenger under age 21 is allowed (except for medical emergencies).
- Drivers and passengers must wear seat belts.
- They cannot use a cell phone while driving, except for emergencies.

If you fail your online DMV written test in Colorado, you can retake it as many times as necessary, but with a maximum of two attempts in a day.
