Operating a motorcycle safely in traffic requires special skills and knowledge. To earn your license in West Virginia, you must pass a knowledge test and an on-cycle skill test. Knowledge test questions are based on the information from the West Virginia Motorcycle Operator Manual. They require that you know and understand road rules and safe riding practices.
