Operating a motorcycle safely in traffic requires special skills and knowledge. To earn your license in West Virginia, you must pass a knowledge test and an on-cycle skill test. Knowledge test questions are based on the information from the West Virginia Motorcycle Manual. They require that you know and understand road rules and safe riding practices. The motorcycle test consists of 25 multiple choice questions. To pass you need a score of 19 or higher.
