Anyone who drives a motorcycle in Wisconsin must have a Class M motorcycle license or motorcycle instruction permit. To earn a motorcycle instruction permit in Wisconsin, the applicant must pass the motorcycle knowledge test, a sign test and a vision screening. Check the Wisconsin Motorcycle Handbook.

Signal, Execute, Evaluate.
Search, Evaluate, Execute.
Search, Examine, Execute.

2. When you need to swerve, remember to:

brake while swerving.
never swerve in a turn.
brake before or after – never while swerving.

3. You are approaching a turn and need to change gears. When should you change gears?

At any point before, after, or during the turn
After entering the turn
Before entering the turn

4. A plastic shatter-resistant faceshield:

only protects your eyes.
helps protect your whole face.
is not necessary if you have a windshield.

Using both brakes at the same time
