Under the laws of Mississippi, if you operate any motor vehicle on the streets or highways, you must have a driver’s license or learner’s permit. As part of your examination, your eyes will be checked to make sure you see well enough to drive safely. The questions on the written knowledge test will be based on information taken from the Mississippi Driver's Manual, and will concern the Mississippi traffic laws, road signs, road rules and safe driving practices. The Mississippi MS DMV knowledge test consists of 30 questions, and you'll need 24 correct answers to pass (80%).
1. Aggressive driving behaviors can include:
excessive following distance.
a tendency to drive slow.
erratic lane changes.
2. The road is the most slippery:
when it first starts to rain.
after it rains.
All of the above.
3. If it safe to do so, you can pass a vehicle ahead when:
there is a solid line on your side of the road.
there is a broken line on your side of the road.
you are on a hill or curve.
4. When passing a vehicle, it is safe to return to your lane when:
you can see both headlights of the vehicle you passed in your rearview mirror.
you look over your shoulder and see no vehicle behind you.

5. When turning, drivers should:
