MISSOURI MOTORCYCLE PRACTICE TEST

To earn your motorcycle license in Missouri, you must pass both a knowledge test and an on-cycle skill test. Knowledge test questions are based on information from the Missouri Motorcycle Manual. They require that you know and understand driving laws, road rules and safe riding practices. The Missouri motorcycle test consists of 25 questions. To pass you must correctly answer at least 20 questions (80%).
1. When riding a motorcycle, you use your arms primarily:
to make hand signals.
to hold yourself up.
to apply the front brake.
to steer the motorcycle.
2. If your motorcycle starts to wobble, do NOT:
roll off the throttle.
grip the handlebars firmly.
apply the brakes.
move your weight as far forward and down as possible.
3. The left-hand lever controls:
the throttle.
the rear brake.
the front brake.
the clutch.
4. When following another vehicle, always maintain a following distance of at least:
2 seconds
6 seconds
4 seconds
30 feet
5. When you are being passed from behind, avoid being hit by:
objects thrown from windows.
blasts of wind from larger vehicles.
extended side mirrors.
