MISSOURI MOTORCYCLE LICENSE TEST

To earn your motorcycle license in Missouri, you must pass both a knowledge test and an on-cycle skill test. Knowledge test questions are based on information from the Missouri Motorcycle Manual. They require that you know and understand driving laws, road rules and safe riding practices. The Missouri motorcycle test consists of 25 questions. To pass you must correctly answer at least 20 questions (80%).
1.
Handlebars should be adjusted so:
|
your hands are above your elbows.
|
|
|
your hands are even with or below your elbows.
|
|
|
you can lock the rear brake more easily.
|
|
|
you can keep your arms straight.
|
2.
If you
accidentally lock the rear brake on a
good traction surface:
|
immediately operate the engine cut-off
switch.
|
|
|
release the rear brake and apply the front brake firmly.
|
|
|
keep it locked until
you have stopped.
|
|
|
check the
throttle cable.
|
3.
If the rear tire goes flat while riding:
|
gradually apply the front brake.
|
|
|
apply both brakes at the same time.
|
|
|
apply the rear brake firmly.
|
|
|
apply the rear brake first.
|
4.
The pavement is particularly slippery:
|
in the tire tracks
left by cars.
|
|
|
in rural areas.
|
|
|
after it starts to rain.
|
|
|
in construction zones.
|
5.
