ALABAMA DMV MOTORCYCLE TEST

Safe riding requires knowledge and skill. To earn your Alabama motorcycle license, you must pass both a knowledge test and on-cycle skills test. Knowledge test questions are based on information from the AL DMV Motorcycle Operator Manual. They require that you know and understand road rules and safe riding practices. The written knowledge test consists of 30 questions. To pass you must correctly answer at least 24 questions (80%).
