COLORADO DMV PERMIT TEST

Any person who operates a motor vehicle, motorcycle or moped on the public streets and highways in Colorado is required to be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license or learner’s permit. Applicants are required to pass all required examinations (physical, vision, written test and/or driving test) and pay the required fees. The Colorado DMV knowledge test questions will cover the contents of the Colorado Driver Manual including road signs, driving rules, safety rules and legal items. The CO DMV written test consists of 25 questions. To pass, you must correctly answer at least 20 questions (80%).
1. This sign means:

Drive slowly in the right lane.
You should slow down and move to the right lane.
Slower traffic must exit on the right.
Stay in the right lane if you are driving slower than other traffic.
2. The Move Over Law requires drivers to:
Come to a complete stop as they approach an emergency vehicle with its emergency lights activated.
Stay on the lane adjacent to an emergency vehicle that is parked with its emergency lights activated on interstate highways.
Exercise care to avoid colliding with an emergency vehicle that is parked or stopped with its emergency lights activated.
Increase their speed and pass emergency vehicles on the left, if they have their emergency lights activated.
3. When leaving an interstate highway, you must:
Increase your speed after turning into the deceleration lane.
Make a last-minute turn if possible.
Slow down as soon as you have moved into the deceleration lane.
Slow down before turning into the deceleration lane, and check the posted safe speed for the ramp.
4. Regulatory signs are:
Yellow.
Blue.
White.
Green.
5. When you speed in work zones, ticket fines:
Triple, even when the workers are not there.
Triple, if the workers are in the work zone.
Quadruple.
Double.
