Explanation
At night, your visibility is reduced-you can't see as far, as soon, or as clearly as you can during the day. Pedestrians are especially difficult to see in the dark compared to road signs or vehicles. Train yourself to look beyond your headlights for dark shapes in the road ahead, and glance to the sides to identify the pavement edges and spot any hazards approaching from the right or left.
