Explanation
If you are traveling on a slippery surface and your tires begin to skid, you should take your foot off the gas pedal and steer in the direction of the skid. Avoid using your brakes, which could worsen the skid, and only use them once you have gained control over the vehicle. Do everything in your power to avoid a collision with another driver. This includes remembering to increase your following distance when you are traveling on a wet or icy road.
