To get an Arizona driver's license, applicants must pass a knowledge exam. The DMV written test covers the information found in the Arizona DMV Driver License Manual, and includes questions on road rules, road signs, traffic laws, and safe driving practices. The AZ DMV written test consists of 30 questions. To pass the AZ DMV test, you must correctly answer at least 24 questions (80%).
