Explanation
As a general rule, you must use the lane on your left to pass a vehicle traveling in your same direction. Before you pass, check that the road behind, ahead and on your side is clear of traffic, and make sure you can get all the way in front of the vehicle you are passing without creating danger for the oncoming vehicles. Always signal that you are about to change lanes and pass only one vehicle at a time. Once you have completed the pass, quickly return to your lane. Never pass a vehicle on the left when the driver is planning to make a left turn.
